Like the title states I just got my kit for $225 at Amain. Very excited about this and just want some tips or advice on it.
My setup

120a sensored esc
Trinity 13.5t Duo 1
2600mah Turnigy super shorty 90c lipo
Hobbyking servos.

Just need the truck to come everything else is waiting. Will update

The only upgrade I ordered off that bat is a aluminum top plate for $12. Aluminum aircraft grade made in the U.S. Other then that I was thinking about a T-bone bumper but not sure

Only thing I saw is you don't have a pinion for your motor.

I run a trinity gen2 13.5 sensored with a 26 pinion and it seems like a good compromise between speed and crawling

Does the kit not come with a pinion? What pitch?

A 48p pinion and with that much power you will probably need this too. Robinson Racing Twin Hammers 78 Teeth Blackened Hardened Steel Spur

So I ordered a 26t pinion and a program card for my esc. Last order for awhile. Would like some lights but I'll wait

Expensive for me , I'll try the stock spur for now.

The gear

Tranny done, locked in high gear. So far my only complaint is screw quality. Stripped a 3x25mm in the tranny case and I still have to get it out :/

Stripped a set screw in the tranny drive cup. Pretty pissed ugh

Well I picked up new hex drivers and drilled out the screw on the cup. Hopefully I can get it to work

Fixed it and now on a role!

Looking good.

Why do you mount everything so far forward? You might have issue mounting the front suspension with the wires there (Or have you got upright front shocks?)
