Default WesleyRoy's Twin Hammers

Here's my twin hammers.

Started live as a rtr, was on sale and looked like a good deal. But as always in the end your better off with the kit.

Soon the stock body was quite beaten because of the many rollovers with Brushless power.

So adapted for aluminium Radshape panels. But wanted to try something different. And found a cheap sheet of stickerbomb on eBay China.

Also opted for the scorched parts suspension steering set up, with rsd shocks front.

Hobbyking 120a esc and 3100 kv Hobbywing sct motor.
Decided to stay with 2s because 3s was just to insane. So ordered the metal battery plate for hardcase packs, going to use shortys.

As you can see on the photo with Maarten's TH my front coaster block broke down. So ordered some vanquish goodies

Also have a fast savox servo in it, as i still had it laying around as a leftover from my race buggys.

Love this thing. Fast, light, fun. And still quite strong.

Nice TH. Dig the sticker bomb. I use it on several rigs.

How do you like the Scorched Parts setup?

Edit: just saw your reply in Jumpit's thread.

THanks, yes like it, especially for jumping. Really like this car. Hope to receive my tuningparts soon (Vanquish caster blocks and spindles, bigger battery mount and steel gears).

I also have the 3d printed upper link mount wich helped stability with accelarations.

Looks great!
Try a battery down in the chassis tray - it makes a massive difference.

Thanks, yes considered the battery chassis tray, but still like the scale-ish interior. For now i ordered the metal battery mount for hardcases in the rear.

Is it hard to change batterys tru the interior.

I made a small hole in the tyres after i found out one of the tyres had a little cut. So problem with the cut is that air comes out but couldn't get back in. Now the tyres deel very soft. Should 't i made hole in the tyres? Hope i didnt ruïned them now.

I made the holes with a small soldering Iron.

No need to worry about the tyres - lots of people, including myself punch a series of holes in the tyres to allow water to get out.

8kwt oil worked good for me, but i now run some diy pistons with 40wt oil which works better. You could maybe try blocking the holes in the pistons with a soldering iron & then run 40wt? Thats my next thing to try.

The battery is really easy to remove, but you will lose the interior. Give the low mounted battery a try - just zip tie it in as a temp mod. I think you'll like the difference.

Well made the first step, just bought at sale, two Gens Ace 2s 4600mah shorty packs. Seriously thinking about your chassis mounted battery mount. Thought maybe i can put in a loose scale driver instead of the whole interior. Anyway, i already bought the aluminium hard case battery mount, before i tought about that. So going to use that option first.

With the driver over on the right hand side, you might get it to work.

Trying to figure out where i will put my electronics now i am going to place my Lipo on the chassis.

Also bought some nice shiny shocktowers.
And changed gearing went from 86/27 to 82/27 cause i decided to use 2s only.

Have a 3100kv motor in it. So think 82/27 will work fine.
