| kit vs RTR versions
What exactly are the differences? I have seen some info, but nothing definitive. I understand the RTR has electronics, but does the kit come with any upgrades besides the front locker and tires? And is there a DT version with a clear body? I can't seem to find one... And what are the differences between the V1 and V2? Just the color and the TX? thanks! |

I’m pretty sure the kit comes with HD metal transmission gears as a upgrade in the kit . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Kit also comes with the sway bars. You can order a clear DT body on amazon for around $20 Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk |

| Re: kit vs RTR versions Looks like the price went up some since I bought it, I think I paid about 26 for it. Or maybe I didn't, I don't remember. Yep, checked my amazon, I paid 25.99 for my DT clear body. https://www.amazon.com/Vaterra-Twin-...n+hammers+body |

Kit has HD front diff outputs, slightly larger swamper tires, swaybars, aluminum wheel hexs, metal trans gears, and decent 2 stage foams. Basically everything you need other than bellcrank kit. Maybe I'm delerious, but I could swear the kids building the rtrs have worn out tools because anytime I hear people complaining about the stock hardware it's when disassembling an rtr. The Vaterra plastic taps hard, which makes for good threads and hardware that stays tight. I felt the need to pre-thread with a cap head bolt instead of the buttoned that use a smaller driver size. |

HD front diff outputs? I have seen those in the parts list and wondered about them. How do the standard RTR front diff outputs hold up?

AX10 RTR or Kit for a build? Kit seems more popular, but RTR has some nice features. | nukexbi | Axial AX-10 Scorpion | 21 | 05-09-2008 01:27 PM |
