Question Motor/ESC

I just picked up a project TH roller...i happen to have a like new Velineon VXL3s combo sitting on my bench....would this be Ok to use in a TH with the 2 speeds? I'm gonna use speed more than crawling, but like the option.

Go for it. I’ve got a brushless from a Yeti in
mine and it’s extremely fun.

Think i will...i had planned on selling it and maybe getting something different, but I think I'll just slap it in. So my next question would be...what sized pinion, i believe it is the stock spur gear that came with the RTR version.
