| Cheapbatterypacks.com feedback Q&A thread
Hey all... Im not sure if this is the right place for this... The mods may move it. After talking to the big man today I decided to start a feedback, comment, complaint, ect... thread. Some of you may know us here a little more personaly than others(AKA Local guys and long time customers) and know how we operate. Our pilicy when it comes to the product we carry is pretty simple... After lots of testing and abuse, we wont carry anything we wouldn't use. If I wouldn't use it, I wont sell it to you. PERIOD. Grant it, we have had our fair share of bumps in the road like alot have, but we try to take care of all of your customers through out the ride while keeping it a pretty simple opperation with lots of automation, low overhead and prices. I see lots of places out there that sell alot of product with hype, giving stuff away, self proclaimed great stuff, and drawing alot of attention to themselves. Which looks like it works alot and good to see people making a name for their businesses. But here we let our product sell it self and word of mouth.... and there is a little advertising aswell. But we do not give out free stuff or sponsor anyone simply because we want our stuff to sell because it worked good for you, not because we gave it to you. This formula has brought us along way and although we have done well thus far... There is always room for improvement...... So I open this thread as pretty much a no holds barred place for constructive criticism, comments and concerns. I encourage you to leave your honest feedback, comments, concerns and what not's with your experience buying from us. If you bought something and it was awesome, it sucked, it was good but didn't work well for your application, we sent you the wrong crap or screwed up your order and we were complete douche bags about it, our costomer service is good or sucks, how lame we are because we never answer the phones, how helpfull we may have been or weren't at all.... Anything you may have to say about your buying/shopping experience. Of course keeping it clean and being polite is always appreciated. Feel free to comment, ask, or criticize away.... Hopefully this can help us be of more help to you in the future and make your buying experience better for the future. |

Awesome products and awesome customer service!! you guys ROCK!! i have bought 10-15 batteries from these guys over the past 5 years. never once had any issues with any of the batteries, still running some of the first ones i bought 5 years ago!! communication is great and turn around time is super fast. usually receive the batteries within 1 week. remember these are custom made to order batteries not ones they stock!! |

Question, Why is there not an option to make a saddle pack with the 10 cell other than to write it in the description?

Just because there are literally thousands of options with the way our site works so we are constantly adding options. I will try to get that one put in.

In Vendors Market for now, but it may move to a more appropriate forum shortly. Great idea Chris!

Over the last few years all of my batteries have come from cheapbatterypacks and have never had a complaint about any of their products. Top notch service and price.

cheapbatterypacks sucks! since i got my packs from them, my crawlers lasts longer and now my wife is always complaining that i am gone for so long. i used to have to come in and charge them more. just kidding. I love the 6 cell elite packs i got. I just wish the wire in between the packs was just about 1" longer so they would fit around my servo better. Great price and great service! |

Ya they do. And I hear about this douche that works there named Chris... what a dunce! But seriously... Next time put in the notes that you want the middle wire to be an inch longer than usual and it shouldn't be a problem. The super listing doesn't have that option though, so you would have to do it in the custom pack builder. And just a little money saving tip... Get the Elite1450's with no upgrade. You would never know the difference and you save a few bucks...

I had a couple packs made by CBP.com in the past and they had great customer service and a great product. Not to mention they shipped to Hawaii, cheap and fast. When I'm ready to go 8 cell, I know were I'm ordering from.

I have been happy with my dealings at CBP. I don't know what it takes to get some stickers out of them? The PC printer type labels are nice to put on a box or bag, but not on the batteries. I am glad they come off easy! I am always happy to fly the banner of a manufacturer I use and am happy with, but we need some real stickers to come with our orders at the least! I will continue to use CBP for my wire and battery needs and I know they have the stickers... I have seen them |

Were working on better ones for the cars... STEEL_CITY_CRAWLER: If we have an old order from you just include the old order number and say you want it built like that and there should be no issues. Thanks for all the input guys

so my NEW question would be this, is there any chance of a maintenance service with a pack from you guys? what i mean is i have an pack i got from you guys that has less than 20 runs through it, but with my change in electronics, i would like to get that pack reconfigured into a different shape, and maybe while you guys had it, if you have the equipment, test all the cells and make sure they are still in good shape.

I won the giveaway that you did a while back for the testimonies. I will never buy batteries from anyone else. You guys worked with me personally and were very accommodating... great prices and delivered a very nice product. |
