How do you think these would work on a Super MOA? Should i get in on these or hope you do some of the quad magnet motors in Double. Still dont have motors for my super project.... i am a slacker."thumbsup"

EddieO 08-17-2010 04:47 PM

These would work great in a super....45t is my most popular wind for a super.....these are just a normal 45t on crack....

10 sets left.....

I would like to note, that one of my competitors has took it upon himself to makes some claims regarding how winding an armature works...

I've posted multiple times on how packing on more copper correctly produces a more powerful motor. I've shown results, along with posting all the math.

Changing the Arm blank can also have effects....going down blank sizes is not just so we can fit on bigger wire, we do that all the time on the same size blanks, like our regular 35t is wound with 21 AWG on a 5mm blank, while everyone else uses 21.5 AWG....

I guess maybe the other company should work on at least soldering on the brushes, instead of leaving the eyelet brushes on that came from japan......or better yet, try actually winding building the motor yourself before you act like YOU actually do anything other than put your sticker on it.

Sorry for the rant...

I will hopefully place an order in the next couple days for a set of these. I have heard of the power of thr Br00d motors and need to try it for myself. I was bummed when my order for a pair of 40t CreepT's couldn't be filled over a year ago because of you know what, I am glad that you are back making motors, I may get the urge to buy more if these are as impressive as I have heard they are. Keep up the good work bud, you know we like big power!

slowngreen 08-18-2010 11:48 AM

Best on the market for sure! I will ONLY run Team Brood motors in my compers... If I didnt already have some of your killer 40t's, Id grab some.

I don't mean to clutter up the thread w/ a dozen posts, but are these dual or quad magnet cans? In this thread it says 2 magnet cans, but in the giveaway in the XR10 section it says they are Quad magnet cans. Thanks.

EddieO 08-18-2010 12:23 PM

These are two magnet cans.....the motors being give away are an entirely different motor...different can, arm, etc...

I couldn't agree more! More copper density always gets better results. Now who is this company that is claiming to be building their motors all in-house?

Motors have a sweet spec list Eddie, 20 lucky souls indeed! You guys will be getting one nice bit of kit with these.
