The lighting controller's function it to send power to two pins on a connector when it is active. The voltage rating depends on which lighting controller you are interested in. Remote Switch For LED Lighting Dual RC Switch for LED lighting or ? This one switches receiver voltage - so it depends on what voltage you are supplying to your receiver. Most systems are running 5 or 6 volts. RC Lighting Control Using External Power This one is good for in excess of 25 volts. 4 Position Dual RC Switch for LEDs This one switches receiver voltage (same as the first item). 4 Position Dual Powered Dual RC Switch This one switches receiver voltage (same as the first item). Having said that, I can make up a special version that will use a relay and it could switch the winch power to two winches. Another $10 on top of the cost of the lighting controller switch should cover it. The voltage it will handle would more be limited by the version of winch controller you choose. Note that I am considering bringing out a line of winch controllers that use relays for their output devices and will therefore have a much higher voltage rating. |

All I can say is WOW!!! Al is a great guy making outstanding products. If any of you reading this have a 3racing winch and are trying to run the stock controller toss that thing in the garbage and buy one from Al. I was kinda skeptical at first as the stock controller labored to pull my honcho vertically. Well my winch controller showed up today and as soon as I plugged it in I had to do the vertical stress test and it pulled it up with out problems. Thanks for all of your help Al and I wont hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking or wondering about your products. |
