I installed the winch with a heyok three position winch controller. Every time I turn on and off the controller, it retracts the wire of the winch about 1/8". How can I fix that? Thanks.

Hi,

I will help you out in Private Message so that I don't clutter up my product thread.
If I understand what is happening, it sounds like you are leaving your truck turned on when you have your transmitter turned off. I really have to caution you. That is a dangerous way to do things. Never have the rig turned on without having the transmitter turned on. If it was a very fast car and something happened and it took off on you, someone could be hurt. DO NOT DO THIS!

HEYOK, i have a twin hammers with stock eletronics and added your koh brake lights and a vanquish light bar. the koh lights work great always, but when i throttle on it the vanquish light bar surges power and dims until i let off the throttle. would this BEC be the option for me? and i would need it set at 7.4 to keep the max brightness? and is there a way to add a toggle swtich to the part that connects to the light bar so during the day i can have it switched off?
Thanks

Hi,

I'm trying to understand but I am unclear on a few things.

Does this mean that when you accelerate, the vanquish light bar gets brighter and then dims until you let off the throttle?

What BEC?

Sorry - I don't know the specs of this light bar. You didn't provide a link or the specs so I can't really say.

I can't see a problem with that.

Maybe send me a PM if you want to continue this and I will try and help.

Default RCSW2 Dual RC Switch

I have the RCSW2 Dual RC Switch and the brake light controller with dim output when not braking. I put them on my Wraith racer. They are great. I can turn each light bank off and on individually and the brakes look realistic. Thanks Al.:

A quick word: got the 3-pos winch controller within an unrealistic short span of time. Works like a charm

One question, it appears to have been dipped. is this correct or should I rather dip it myself? Yes, I want it waterproof

It's always nice when the shipping is quick!
The winch controller has been coated with Plasti Dip, then covered with heat shrink.
It should be just fine in the water. Have a close look at it though. Sometimes small bubble appear when it cures and leave an opening for water to get in. If you see that, apply more dip or silicone etc.

I have now received another no-brainer and an AWESOME set of KOH lights. Al's stuff is great, also one of the easiest transactions ever. Thanks for the great stuff, I'll be getting more in the future.

Good day, i'm looking for some KOH style LED colored lights for my wraith. Do you have a section where i can see pictures of your products? I had read on here that you also make a switch to turn the lights on and off, and would you know how much would it cost with shipping to Ontario Canada?

Hi,
Start with the first post in this thread. It has links to the things I make.
Find what you like and send me a PM. I can answer any questions there. Custom stuff... whatever you like.
