| DCW Wraith Servo Winch Mount I'm excited to present DCW's latest offering! Want a solid mount for your servo winch in your Wraith? I've got it! CNC cut from 6061, these mounts bolt directly to the frame using existing mounting points. No modifications needed. Bolt in the winch... ...and bolt the mount to the frame (installation instructions will be in the following posts). This mount tucks the winch low enough to stick a receiver or any other low profile electronic item on top of it, and back enough so that it is clear of the axle mounted steering servo. Each mount is $12 + shipping, and includes all necessary hardware. DCW Crawlers - Home Last edited by Duuuuuuuude; 10-23-2015 at 10:43 PM. |

Installation instructions: Check the servo ears to make sure the top sides are flat. If not, make them flat. Use a knife or file. Using the 3x8mm screws, nuts, and washers, attach the servo to the mount. Remove the two screws that hold the drivers side frame rail to the center support, replace them with the 25mm bolts. You may need to run a small drill bit all the way through to get them to go. Alternatively, you can open the holes up enough to allow the bolts to slip through instead of threading through. Insert the bolts far enough to get the mount in place, then run them all the way in and instal the nuts. All that is left is to wire it up and go! Nope. I suppose it'd work if you drop the line down to run under the steering servo.

You mean with a spool attached where the servo horn would normally go? No.
