This thing is insanely awesome, the gear that spins on the side and the free spool is a very nice bonus on that work of art!

Now if i could only make a little widget to have that 1:1 clicking sound when it winches!!!

Just to compare, this is my Truggy with the TZI Winch underneath. Again driven with an FXr on 3s. Rigs weights in at 9 pounds so speed wise the Ox is pretty darn close with the added bonus of being the scaliest winch since the "Quicksand" in my opinion. for SSD again...

My big fat gree. o now wrong movie "winch" !

Here on my Bruiser at first Recon G6 in Germany i need the winch at the difficult sections. This winch looks a bit "fat" on the front but fits perfect on the TF 2 Bumper. On 2S it pulls out of any situation till my weak 12 Kg wire ripps!

This winch need a realy though wire than it pulls even on 2S a 6kg Scale truck "quick" up to the Moon! Man that thing "lifts"!

Just got mine installed on my F-350. I haven't tested it more than putting the line in place. I'm sure I'll set my speed accordingly.

I made my own plate out of Delrin and attached the fair lead.

Do any of you know where to get a replacement motor? Hard to believe, but looks like I burned mine up. I haven’t had any luck looking for motors on the internet, eBay, etc. Thanks!

Did you contact SSD? They sent me a motor when mine went out.

SSD, did you quit making these? Looks like RPP deleted it from their site and A-Main says discontinued online.

Yes the winch was discontinued a year ago now. It just wasn't worth the effort making them anymore.

I did and they are; completely reasonable for motor + shipping. They were super helpful whenI got in touch!
