My buddy just busted his rear output and it looks like my brand new one in the bag is cut REALLY thin also and it's not gonna hold up, so i don't even want to install it now. I was gonna buy a re. kit but i don't wanna get stuck with another thin outdrive so what should i do? |

What is the screw lengths used on the 2.2 Snipers and the 1.9 Snipers? Planning to replace them all for the 09 comp season. |

OK ONE MORE TIME!! I have a DNA mini SS Chassis. The skidplate broke at the front lower link-chassis mount and I have a stress crack on the rear both same side torque side! No I've not had any hits at all on this thing yet.. Now as I have stated in my PM's, posts and Emails I have the thing CA'd back together but it is looking like it may let go again soon! I need a replacement, If I have to pay for it fine. But I need it. Now I posted here three times, first I was told to email customer service done... aparently no response. posted second time to see what was going on completely ignored. Third time you told me you'd get with me within the hour three hours later you pm'd asking what kit I had I told you, you responded with the date that I recieved my chassis! Now I'm really starting to sound like a raving @#$%^&* but I would like to get a new skid plate for my MINI SS. |

| Rear output? any response to my question? mine is so thin it's not even worth the risk of installing it. Is there a better output being made up? __________________ |

Solomon, I have some feedback/ Concern. I know ive said it before, but i im gonna say it again i suppose... My last set of DNA Outputs were made out of soft aluminum. As are the ones in the rebuild kit i bought to get new outputs (last ones broke, 3 battery packs - Note) Im running 8 cells on a rooster crawler with a 5t HH Puller. Yes i understand that you guys run them no problem. But im having problems, and im a paying customer. These REALLY need to be made out of 4130... Or step up the game, Do it out of 300m. Even cold rolled steel would be better then this aluminum . One thing i can say is ive never ever had an outdrive come off due to inproper installation. I always loctite, and everything is always tight.. This wasnt assembled by some 12 year old in his dads basement either. As you can see the set screws spun on the front output. And you can see the rear output's mounting surfaces... Well 2 broke off and one is bent because this is so thin... WHY ? Their is plunty of room in this tranny to make them thick enough to be substancially stronger... Here are some pictures. Sorry if i come across like a dick/pissed but if im spending money on a product that is considerd an "Upgrade" I want it to last. Last edited by DiEzel; 01-14-2009 at 11:31 AM. |
