Got mine in today from RPP with the exact same problem but also the dig case does not fit up to trans near the top where the notch is on the dig side. I am glad to see I am not the only person with this problem but I am needing this fixed ASAP as I was going to run it at Nationals this coming weekend in Moab. Assembling the dig, and I can't thread the rod into the fork at the correct side. It threads in ok at the wrong side. It really does not make sense as it should be able to thread both sides. Need help here. Thanks.

siggy, youll need a 6-32 tap($5) to thread it the rest of the way..... I read about this in another thread+mine came in yesterday(and yes I did tap it all the way thru with the 6-32 tap)..............but my dig unit isnt working like I think I should. Burned up a servo already, so, not sure what to do now. even trying to shift by hand is kinda hard(probably binding), took it apart like 3 time now to check installation. The brass pin on the "cog" is true(to the eye), everything seems smooth till I put the cases together(dig case and tranny)+(tried tightening and keeping the screws(tranny to motor plate) loose)........... also, having a hard time with the linkage. Has anybody got this new batch to work perfectly? its my first dig, so, maybe I just need to figure it out.... Last edited by barbaricboye; 09-05-2008 at 02:34 PM. |

Make sure there is NO grease on the nylon bushings either. Once you can get it to slide easily by hand, put in the servo. Once you are there I suggest mounting the linkage to the back side of the servo horn so the link is parallel with the drivetrain. Hopefully that all makes sense. | |

Hey guys Im out at Nationals and never got the rings for my thrashers so I cant run your rims, I had to stop my Eritex Inc on the way to Moab and have some custom rims made.
