Use a stampede tranny. They're lighter then the maxx ones.

I just ordered one today! Now i just need axles, motors, pinions, and wheels/tires.

With a standard stick pack, could the links bind on the pack in the shortest wheelbase setting?

Thank you for purchasing one of our kits, it is appreciated. No, the links do not hit the battery when the truck is setup for 14" wheelbase. This is because when the truck articulates, the links only move up. There is no down movement of the links.

So how is the schedule looking for the next batch in Nov? If I order one now, will you ship it when it is ready or do I just need to wait until they become available?

the links have arrived and I'm working on getting some of the back-orders out. I will most likely use up all of my skids and side plates before i get all back-orders out though. But anyone who ordered over a week ago will most likely have their truck shipped within the next couple days.

This is the suggested mounting location:

The esc and rx really don't weigh that much, so there mounting position isn't super critical. But mounting on the axles is about as low as you can go.
