I just sent payment for N.N.

I Can't wait to get it!
Take your time though, I still need to order shocks and a servo.

I have a couple of questions:

1) What shock would YOU use?
2) How long of a shock should I get?
3) Do I need to buy a rear steer lockout for 2ws.
4) Would a Hi-tec 5645 hi torque servo be too much? Would it even work w/ a TQ 2ch radio/receiver?

Sorry for the questions but I am wanting to go ahead & order everything. I'm a NooB & get confused easily w/ all the options out there.

I'm cheap, so my truck has stock tmaxx shocks on it. But the Hot Bodies Threaded Shocks work good. I have them on my stick chassis.

The traxxas big bore shocks are also good but I think they are only available in a pack of 8. The shocks are 4" eye to eye. Its worth it to hook up 4ws. But if you want 2ws only, then you need to buy or make a rear steer lockout. I will be carrying the gmade rear steer lockout soon. But it's pretty easy to make it yourself. That servo is just fine and will work with a tq2. Please ask as many questions as you wish. There are allot of options to choose from.

Wow! I saw the NN up close and personal today at our Winter Comp. Though my fingers were frozen..... I was very impressed with the Chassis, nice and Rigid and a heck of a deal with all that's included! It also seemed extremely flexible/versatile for setup options. I wouldn't be surprised if a couple even ended up being Racers, I dont see many limits for the NN. Great work.

Kevin:

Is having two Hitech 5645's overkill on a N.N. If so what would you recommend I use?

Also I ordered 8 tooth & 9 tooth pinions... Will it hurt my rig to run it with two different gears? I know alot of people run it that way but I'd like to know what you thought about it.

One more thing and I'll stop...
Do I still need the 3x12x5mm shoulder screws if I use the Integy MSR4 threaded shocks?

I'll delete this post later if you want me to. I'm not trying to highjack.

Thanks in advance.

yup, like c14 said that setup is just fine. It will not hurt it to run the two different gears. Not sure if those shocks require the shoulder bolts or not. Not highjacking at all. Thats what this thread is for. Ask as many questions as you want.

do you have wheel wideners so you can run your super rooster on the axle

In those photos, I'm using clod rims and yes there are adapters on there. You will have to use adapters with most chassis designs to push the wheels/tires away from the links. If you don't want to mount the esc on the axle you'll have to get creative.

We ship priority mail, so you should have it Tuesday or Wednesday. Hope you enjoy the chassis.
