Default BWD 2.2 Vertex Bead-Locks are here!

At long last, I finally got some of my new 2.2 Vertex budget bead-locks in stock. Weight with rings and hardware is 3.0 ounces in aluminum and 1.8 ounces in delrin. They are .75" wide and are available in two offsets. The wide offset wheels puts the track width at 10.125" on Axial axles and 10.75" on Berg axles. The narrow offset puts the track width at 9.625" on Axial axles and 10.25" on Berg axles. Offset can of course be adjusted futher by using wider or narrower hexes.

These are sold in pairs so you can stagger your track width as desired.

I have a very limited supply currently as I wanted to get public opinion before getting too deep into them. As always, my wheels are easy to mount up and hold a bead second to none. Price is 50 bucks a pair, plus shipping, and they can be purchased on my site at www.billet-works.com

Im freaking OUT! those black delrin with aluminum rings are the bomb! Don, you know my plan to anodize the rings in my favorite color, also they will match my micro rigs that run the same ones. Good work Don!

what is the width on a MRC with alluminum hexes ?
Im looking for the track width info...just like the bergs, axials, and LCC the over all track width is the most important info..

Thanks for your earlier response

Can we get a sneek peek of the new weight system you mentioned in your XR Wedge post? Will the new weight system be available for the 1.9's also?

A person can never have too many wheel and tire combos to choose from

Hey Don, I just picked up a set of these in a berg/ax10 offset for my xr build, I could really use somekind of weight system for the front of these wheels and I can see on your site that it appears there is a bullet weight and ring setup on the demo xr10. Are these availible for sale or do you have a suggestion of a system that works well with these. I'm running rover whites with nova 5.5 dual stagers. Thanks for any insight Kurt.

the weights shown are only on my personal rig. We are all starting to run the knuckle weights and they work great.

Is my xr steering arm going to work with the vertex wheels, I bought the one for the stock wheels off you since I'm running hr steering knuckles which posses another issue with the d lux weight setup....... Gotta figure out a different wieght system for now until I can afford to do the vp/dlux upgrade.
