Hows this:

Partially Google translated from HERE.

Hello dear forum . as I found out in the first round of the ASTS, some are interested in a building report on that you have to read what I write you something fast together (Warning, some pictures were taken only on the fly: dark and blurry ) This began with 1mm, 2mm and 2.5mm polystyrene plates and super glue. The first documented progress: Then we went on to the lathe; mix of steel and aluminum, steel for the inner axle halves and the axle tubes, gears and shafts, all Rest is aluminum. In the photos, the rear axle, with yet undrilled axle halves, and with similar gears were used. , then go to the transfer case V1.0 and innards of the flanged to the engine gearbox. drilled Then the axle halves were and are welded to the axle tubes, Gears tasted pure if everything reasonably runs smoothly. then the transfer case was V2.0 assembled and adjusted. Even with the rough-diamonds we went on a short-lived marriage to fitting: steering lever was made (not painted): Almost ready chassis: more body work and light installation And, well, a few layers of primer, primer and paint later: Plus winch, and he took up the ASTS: Hope you like it, the next one is already in production. Greetings, Andreas

Andreas, thank you for posting up your build. Very cool and unique. Very nice machining and fabrication work and nice scale detail.

I love unique designs and thinking outside the box. Have you ever seen the stick chassis I invented?

I am not Andreas. Just a master Google detective

I just visited the form listed on their video intro and went to the Multiaxle section. It was the second or third thread I looked at.

Thanks for digging to get that info. Appreciate it! It's a sweet scale build for sure.
