Default Im interested...

I am interested in buying the NN chassis ( the full kit version- all links included). Before I decide if I want one for sure I have a few questions.
1. Does this kit include all parts needed to complete the crawler, except parts from Clodbuster?
2. I have an original Clodbuster, will I be able to use all parts straight off of my Clod to put together the new chassis?(I will buy an esc and new servo(s))
3. Does this kit come with the parts needed to run 4-wheel steer?
4. How much will it cost to have it waiting for me at my house and how long will it take to get here. I live in warsaw, Indiana 46582.
Thanks,
MP.

Hello, you can see a picture and list of all included parts here:

http://www.thecrawlerstore.com/NN.htm

Also, this article is informative and will provide you with more information:

How to build a Clodbuster Rock Crawler

You do need more parts than just the clod parts and the chassis kit, which the above article will explain. The kit does come with the parts to install 4 wheel steering. The kits are back-ordered now, but with only about a 1-3 week wait. Please send me a private message if you have anymore questions. Take care.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the link. I have seen that link before but I didnt know if I would need any other parts not in that list. I figured out what I need from that list and I found the cheapest way I could find. If you know of any cheaper way to go for any of these parts please let me know.
servos- Hitec 645 mg $40 X2
servo savers- Kimbrough $6.50 X2
ESC- Super Rooster $119.00
Batteries- Cheapos 2 for $20.00
Rear steer Module- $10.00
Lathe motors- $20.00 X2
NN chassis- $149.99
That should come to about $430.00 total, If this is possible or if you have a cheaper source please let me know. I have the TQ3 radio and the Axles, the tires and rims, and all of the stock clod parts. I have two more questions, will the stock motors run fine with this setup and will the super rooster run two batteries or one?
Thanks,
MP.

Kevin
I would just like to say thanks for the great products I have a 2.2 stick and I rolled it about 75 feet down a hill that was to steep to stand on. I'm glad to say that the only parts that broke were stock Tamiya parts 2 axle housings and both sides of the front and rear centersections are cracked. Nothing that i bought from the crawler store broke or bent.
Thanks
Erick

there a allot of people now trying out the tekin rebel 2 esc. It's only $80. I have one on the way to test out. But most people have used them without problem. You can run the stock motors, but the lathes would be better. The s. rooster can handle up to 10 cells. So no, you can't run two packs. Thanks.

Erick, glad to hear the chassis withstood the fall. Sorry to hear you broke some other parts and need to do some repairs. Thanks for the props!

it has around a 12.25 or a 12.5 wheel base I'm not exactly sure because I don't have the truck in front of me to measure

Corey, i will contact Jason about your stickers. Just a reminder, rcc stickers are not sold by TheCrawlerStore.com. They are distributed by Jason through this website/forum.

Hello. Yes, that part of the original instruction manual is not included and not needed. Also, you should have extra parts because the parts come as "bag parts" from tamiya, and not all are used in our application.

Yes, there will be allot of extra hardware. Don't worry, if you assembled the instructions per the manual you should have no problems.

Hey Kevin, I've been doing dome research and watching all the video I can and I think I am going to switch from the NN to the Stick. What is the availability looking like? Do you think it would be possible to get one by the 21st of Jan.? Thanks for the help.
