I've got about 4.5" of clearance under the belly of my 14" wheelbase NN. It's probably close to that at optimum for the 16" wheelbase. But that all depends on your terrain and personal preference.

I just got my NN. I also have some T-Maxx shocks on the way. Should I run the stock springs and oil? What is your oil weight suggestion?

Axles have been delayed by Tamiya. Just waiting on the parts from them. Hopefully axle kits will ship next week sometime.

I was getting my motor mounts from Thunder Tech but they are no longer making them. I'm working with RC4WD now and I have a bunch on order that should be here soon.

Any news on the links for the nn chassis yet? I ordered my kit and it's on backorder because of the links. Also how come everything on this site has the kit for 149.99 and i paid 159.99 im not worried over $10 just wanted to let you know that it is still listed for 149.99 in the how to build a crawler section. I cant wait to get this crawler together i've built the axles got the motors and everything else to finish it. thanks for the help

Update on clod axles. They probably won't be here for another two weeks. The NN links are en-route and should be here sometime next week. Then we can start making chassis kits and shipping out backorders.

Thanks for the heads up on the price. The price in our banner add up top there was removed, but the price in the clod article was not. I just changed that. Thanks.

I have stickers finally (black text and white text, clear backing, TheCrawlerStore.com). If you would like some:

If you have purchased from us, please send a penny ($0.01) to contact@thecrawlerstore.com and include in the notes of your order your transaction ID, and email used to place original order. Sending the penny will make it easier for us to print labels through the automated process'. Include in the notes if you want black or white stickers and how many (Max 2 per color).

If you have not purchased product from us and would like stickers they are 50 cents each plus 70 cents to mail them (USPS First Class Mail, the cheapest option with paypal shipments). Include in the notes if you want black or white stickers and how many. Thank you.

Question

I just put my steering links on my N.N.

My Q is:
Will it work as well, if I put both links "above" the knuckle?
It appears as though, it will be ok. (I'm a NooB):?

I'm competing in B.D.B.2. Saturday.

Any info, from anyone, would be helpful... Thanks in advance.

you can put them both on top, but that will create more stress on the side with the two links. That's because the top link will be well above the knuckle and the leverage it can apply to break the knuckle arm will be multiplied by that distance.
