BENDER Customs 23mm adapters...........Last 5 sets then they're gone

5 Attachment(s)
These 23mm adapters are CNC machined out of delrin, which is an extremely durable plastic. They are designed to work with your stock axle nut, no extra hardware needed. The narrow design is great for keeping tire scrub to a minimum. I have versions for the TXT as well as Clods, so please specify which vehicle/outer axles you are running.

I'm selling them for $50 a set shipped in the U.S. I do accept Paypal.

They are available on my website www.bendercustoms.com

Thanks,
Bender

Thanks for the compliments dorji, it's a great combo!!

The Moabs are, without a doubt, my favorite tire for most situations. Now that Pro-Line has come out with a true 40 series beadlock, it's a very tough combo to beat. ;-)

Here's a couple pics of the Clod adapters in comparison to the TXT version.

Thanks BigTex.

I might be able to crawl under the bridge, I got some stuff to do tomorrow so we'll see.

Which style do you need Clod or TXT?

dorji 06-26-2005 09:23 PM

hay bender i am going to be running the v-prime chassis, do you think i'll have any clearance problems with the wheels hitting the links at full lock

I honestly couldn't tell you for sure, the adapters do provide a little narrower stance if you don't narrow up the rims.

dorji 06-26-2005 09:38 PM

do you think these will work with any wheel wideing spacers so i dont have to narrow the rims? also can you send me payment info.
thanks

I'm not sure if they will work with wheel wideners either, sorry I wish I could be more help. I haven't had a chance to try too many different set-ups.

Benders adapters are awesome! Best I've used! I felt that I should jump in and I'm sure you don't mind Brad. The adapters for the clod will work best if you narrow the wheels, which you should do any way. After narrowing my Commandos by almost an inch, there is no rubbing of the Moab tires on the links. The narrow track width the adpters provide a clod will enhance performance ten fold! You can turn tighter, easier, less stress on servos and you can crawl much better in competition type settings. Get these adapters!!!! You won't be sorry!!!

What kind of warranty is there on these adpaters?? Do they hold up to your beatings?

Dirk and I have been abusing these for a few weeks now, I'm running the TXT version and he has the Clods, without any problems at all. We're running the prototypes, the ones I'm selling are even beefier. ;-)

EDIT: So far Dirk has managed to break an outer axle, metal servo gears, and the JB Weld in his diff.............. my adapters are still unscathed.

true. I have seriously been beating my rig. Testing the Commando wheels, adapters...and some other parts. The wheels and adapters are awesome!

Bender told me this, as for a warantee:

If you break one....tough titty!
If you need a replacement.....buy one!
If you cry about it.....expect to be kicked in the teeth!
In general.....**** you!!!!!

Too funny. Do you write warranties for other companies as well? I have read that somewhere else.
