As for wheels...who wants regular wheels and who wants beadlocks? What the most popular wheels on the market for regular wheels and for beadlocks?

Yes...that's right...I want to make some rims...and I want to make them highly functional and good looking as well. Sounds like the perfect wife!!!
I think you should stick with the new tires for now. There are ALOT of wheel manufacturers out there and you really have to know what you're doing and what people want. Did you buy a new CNC mill or something?

Sell them without the foams. Foams are so specialized for scalers that it's really hard to include the perfect foam for everyone.

I would like to see them without foams and for beadlock wheels. Also is there any thoughts about making a tire for the class 1 scaler? I love my 1.9's for class 2, but would love a set of 1.55s that fit in the class 1 specs.

This is Phillip, like we were discussing last weekend, I would have to agree with many before me and say that Bead Lock wheels are the way to go!

Guido is sitting in the basement with Sedona's and I love the wide tire look. I would prefer a 5.5" tall tire, seems to me that the market is bigger, but if the tire works well at 5.75" the market will follow. War Pig's suggestion on keeping the proportion seems spot on to me.

If you do beadlocks, please do a dish type wheel. I really prefer them over all these flat face spoke wheels for scale builds.

foams are tricky and every one is different. I hate it when a tire folds over but, love it when they wrinkle going forward. My 1.9 Pit Bulls have stock Rover foams and the stock inners that came with the tires. I really like the way they handle.

I'd like to see some scale bead locks that look like these Trim Rings and Beauty Rings Stainless Steel Trim Rings for Hot Rod Street Rods

After buying the new IROK's last week... I have to agree with Grizzly, 5.5"

Beadlocks that the Pit Bulls mount easy to would be nice.

no foams needed IMO.

just get me some of these tires, dont make them all sorts of too wide though. i actually like them on the skinny side, under 2" is awesome. once you get out to 2.2 they start looking like monster truck tires, and not really all that scale to me. now that i think of it, something less than 1.75" wide is just about right. the look of the 1 gen rock beasts to me is just to wide and looks cartoonish.

5.75 tall.

sweet!

I think with the wider Wraith axles, the shallow dish wheels are necessary to keep the width under control. Of course when you do your XR universal/Wraith knuckle mod you should be golden with AX-10 axles.

After buying the new Iroks, I'm sure that I would prefer 5.75 over 5.5 sir. Not trying to start an argument, it's just that the clearance gained is huge. I've seen what V1 Pits work like, and think that scaling them up to 5.75" tall would prob make the best scale tire out there.

5.5-5.6 in my opinion. 2.2 irox are just to tall. 2" on width or 2.1, the original pits are to wide.

Thicken the sidewalls with such a soft compound as yours. Tread depth slightly deeper than the 1.9's.

If they look and work as well as your 1.9 tire, I'll retire my 2nd set of pro-line swampers.

I'll gladly do R and D for ya. No charge, of course.

MAKE THEM NARROWER!!! I hate the look of the current 2.2 pitbulls because they look too wide, and too small. If they were about the size of a proline swamper SX, or maybe even as tall as an RC4WD Mickey Thompson TTC, and stay around those tire sizes as far as width, I would run a set!

Just my .02 cents.

RC4WD tires are too narrow for my taste. I like a little bit wider tire.
Proline Swamper SX2's are a good width.

I dont think you should change the width at all if you go 5.75".. I am sure it will look more proportional width wise at that height..

Besides you guys are not really known for narrow tires with the 1:1 trucks.. Leave the pizza cutters to someone else

Website says 2.05 inches. On .75 rims, nova dd foams on a 6 lb rock racer they measure right at 2.00 inches.
