Pit Bull 2.2 - 8Bolt Beadlocks

Okay...so we're coming out with a new beadlock wheel for 2.2s.

Official Pit Bull Tire product and copyrighted design.

They are made in the USA and they work with VP hubs.

It's called the 8Bolt and it's definitely a different look. 8Bolt because there are 8 Bolts...yes...it's that well thought out.

We will be offering them for sale in sets of 2. So if you want a spare, buy an extra pack of two with a buddy and share.

PRICING:

Complete Set* RAW - Retail Price - $62.50 USD

Complete Set* BLACK - Retail Price - $69.99 USD
- The black wheels will have remachined bolts. Nice, huh?!

Complete Set* mixed colors we offer (OTHER THAN ALL RAW) - Retail Price - $69.99 USD
- So basically...if you want to mix and match...you gonna have to pay a little more sucka!!!

All FOB St. Louis - which means...you pay the freight.

*COMPLETE SET includes:
2 Wheels
4 Beadlock rings
32 Beadlock screws
12 Center hub screws
2 Center Caps

BARGAIN prices if you consider all the stuff you get and the ease of use. Instead of 16, 24 or 32 beadlock screws per ring...it's 8. Maybe it's us...but that's a heck of a lot simpler.

Let us know what you think of our offerings and the pricing. As we always do, we want to offer exceptional quality at affordable pricing.

You can order Raw or Black and mix any combo of Raw or Black of the following parts:

Wheels (Black wheels have remachined bolts)
Bead Rings
Center Caps

Do you want to?? hahahaha

For now you will have to email us at customerservice@pitbulltires.com and tell us what you're interested in. We are building a website/shopping cart, and it won't be ready for another month.

In the meantime...include your phone number where you can be reached on your email address and a shipping address so we can figure freight for you.

I know it's a pain...but it's the best we can do for now. The website was supposed to be up and running already...IT guys...

Should have hired me. It would have been done yesterday. ;) Nice looking wheels. Are you planning on offering anodized color options? Like black, or... Black... Or.... Mmmmm Black?

gbean 04-20-2013 01:22 PM

I'm in for a set in black assuming you can get a picture of them up....
What is the weight per wheel?

Keep us posted!
Also where are you guys located and will these roll out to RPPHobby soon?

We are going to be selling these wheels direct to the public because there's not enough markup for dealers to sell them. If we sell them through dealers, the Retail would be $99 per set of two...and $200 for 4 beadlock wheels is a lot and I'm just not going to do that to you guys. Life's already way too expensive as it is...

Yes...we are offering them in Black and Raw. No other colors as of right now. It's not that we're opposed to other colors...it's as simple as...I want to get this thing moving forward without a detracting from what we do best...tires. We just wanted to offer something unique to compliment our tires. We're easing into the RC wheel thing.

Awesome! I'm a big fan of black wheels with some raw detail....
I've got your 2.2 RB II's on my wraith and they are the envy of the local scaler club. Can't wait for some killer wheels to match.

Price is high imo. To many offerings in the 100-120 range..i.e..motoworx...just saying...all the same perks ;) more hardware equals more scale appearance

I understand what you're saying about the more hardware...BUT...we are a 1:1 company and we designed the wheel....SO...hahaha

We can always offer a bead ring option with more hardware...for the same price...no worries. Thanks for the feedback.

The idea would be to have the 8 holes on the inside bead ring and the outer ring would have more hardware for the scale look. That way you're not killing yourself dealing with the inside bead ring...but you still get the scale look you want on the outside ring. Sound good?
