Default DE Racing Wheels (modified for hubs)

Hey guys. I'm back as a vendor and will be selling under the new name of Superstition Machine Works, SMW for short.

My first offering will be the simple yet often requested "hubbed" DE racing wheel.
Until recently was unable to efficiently modify these but that is no longer a problem.

I start with an American made DE Racing "Borrego" 2.2 Wheels (TLR22) and precision CNC machine them for a perfect fit with a SLW hub.

**Tech Specs**
Outside Width: 1.00" (0.76" if you removed the inner ring and glued to the next rib)
Inside Diameter: 2.10"
Depth from Inner Face to Ribs: 0.48"
Weight: 12g

PM ME TO ADD YOUR NAME TO THE NEXT BATCH
NO MONEY DOWN
BATCHES ARE TYPICALLY DONE ON A WEEKLY BASIS

Price per set (4 wheels) is $40.00 SHIPPED TO THE USA USPS Priority

International shipping rates need to be quoted before you pay.

If you are interested PM me for further details.

Thanks
Rob

Not much chatter but the first round has sold out.
If you would like to put your name on a set for the next batch (no money down) PM me.
I will wait a few days and order in some more.

Best machine work I've seen in some time. My set is hands down my favorite and I will be ordering 1-2 more sets after ECC.

No one can deny their super light weight.

Get yourself the best wheels for those ultra light trucks.

I might not have a crawler but that doesn't mean I can't do some, um, durability testing

Apparently you shouldn't try a new setup on your 20th hour of the day. Touched off the .500" gauge block on the left wheel. Double checking against the right wheel I rapid the mill down to Z0, with the gauge block in place.

So this is what an unmodified DE wheel looks like with the center pushed in 1/2"

Popped back surprisingly well really...

I'm calling it a night

Got mine in the mail yesterday, awesome job on them. I would recommend these to everyone. Now to get some more foam tuning in and mount up my VOODOO tires.

Just in case anyone was wondering, here is a set of .70" SLWs, with Crawler Innovations DD foams, a set of Rovers and a set of Sedonas. My go to set up. 1lb 8oz, or 1.5 lbs...

Now, 4 of rob_b's modified DE Racing wheels, with some new gold dot VOODOOs, Crawler Innovations closed cells, with some tuning rings and other foams stuffed in those tires, with the VP SLW hubs I plan to use. YES, the hubs are on there.. 1lb, 0.25oz, or 1.01 lbs.

Need to loose some weight guys, here is one way....

Thanks rob_b

Will the Lattice Innovations Shift Hubs fit on your wheels? I know the bolt pattern is the same as the SLW. I am not sure about the circumference if it will fit in the cnc machined area you did.
