"thumbsup" Basic wheel examples: Solids http://i59.tinypic.com/2empv14.jpg 8 hole (commonly used to replace stock Axial beadlocks) http://i58.tinypic.com/14vgqdw.jpg 10 hole http://i60.tinypic.com/2wfvfxt.jpg 12 hole http://i61.tinypic.com/33ua3cn.jpg Kidney beans http://i62.tinypic.com/2rettef.jpg 2.6/YetiX http://i60.tinypic.com/214s9vk.jpg Custom Wheel Designs: When you really, really want something special. Custom designs start at $90 for 4 and go up from there. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to designs you can find elsewhere for more money, you won't get that here. Since I make each set by hand, as ordered, one at a time, my prices simply cannot be competitive. Once you add the price of rings, hubs, and hardware, you'll spend more here than you would with the other guys. Please note: I will NOT reproduce a wheel that someone else has already licensed or has designed themselves. Some custom examples: http://i60.tinypic.com/30ijl9f.jpg http://i59.tinypic.com/25i3lhj.jpg http://i59.tinypic.com/ou5h6f.jpg http://i61.tinypic.com/5r4nl.jpg A word on pricing and options... Anything order over 1 1/4" wide is subject to an additional $20 charge for the amount of material used. 6 holes per side for beadlock rings are standard. 12 and 18 per side is an additional $10 per set of 4, 24 holes is $20 additional. Countersunk/counterbored bolt holes are $20 additional per set of 4. Every order is shipped and insured via USPS Priority, and is included in the cost of the wheels. If your order will not fit in the small flat rate box, there will be an additional charge. When ordering, I need to know: 1. Size 2. Color 3. Style 4. Width 5. Backspacing/offset (measured from the back of the wheel to the hub mounting surface) 6. What hubs you will be using 7. Beadlocks or glue-on 8. If beadlocks, what rings you will be using Please have all of this information ready when you contact me. About backspacing/offset: This is completely up to you, and is dependent on the hubs you want to use and the track width you want to achieve. I figure backspacing by measuring from the back of the wheel to the surface that the hub will mate to. See item C in the picture below... http://i61.tinypic.com/2co68ig.jpg CBE YetiX customers: Your wheels will have added detail standard, which results in a higher price. If you prefer a lower cost/less detail option, let me know! |

Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels If anyone is wondering if they'll hold a bead I'm running tires that have been cut off a plastic wheel 4 times and I have 100% confidence in these holding on. Screws threaded easily but not too easily and there's a very positive feel when the screws are tight. Wheel weight on mine is nice and light. Looking forward to 4 more when my money is right. Thanks again Duuuuuuude. "thumbsup" |

Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels If anyone is wondering how well Duuuuuude's wheels hold a bead, here are a couple of good pictures. The setup was to find a hole in a rock, put it in front DIG and slowly let the front tires eat until they bunch up. I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps2gyrhbd8.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps4hhwg75t.jpg |

Re: DCW Made to Order Delrin Wheels NJK wanted something like this in delrin with a deep offset: http://static---westkycustoms.app-ho..._5x22_toyo.jpg And this is how they came out: 2.2 x 1.6 http://i58.tinypic.com/22t0i.jpg That offset was kind of a PITA. Don't know if I'll do more any time soon... |
