Because you suck at driving with a scale sized tire like a 4.00" tire. you want the largest rubber you can get.

We can relate this to sex too, you think you need a magnum, when in reality you need a small ish rubber.

What i'm getting at, it's not the size of the rubber, it's how you use it. Learn to use it properly, and bam, no more problems.

I like just a little more width the height is great to me seems like the tires are just getting narrower and narrower here's mine with lockup rc wider I think it 7mm

I'm running the 1.55 Growler's on my leaf sprung, TF2, C1..

The 4 comps I have ran it in..
Spring Fling, run what ya brung comp(20 guys)
EPA comp, C2
North East National Championship, C2(30 guys)
EPA comp, C2..

All 1st places..

Learn how to use what you have and "quit yer bitchen"!

I do love my 1.55 Growlers! I used to have Flat Irons! As everybody says, whatever tires you get, you use them, learn how your rig react and work and you're good to go! Good too see regular sized tires for once! Nobody I know runs 55 inches tires on the street!
