I feel lucky just having found this thread! I found it by accident, doing a Googly search for retro D-Slot wheels. I'm going to re-read it to see how I can order a set or two. Congrats nerby149! And very cool of you touranosaur! Making movies one frame at a time. |

I did before I found you here, and look forward to a conversation about my idea. You do some beautiful work besides the wheels. Making movies one frame at a time. |

That chain link ring, the CO2 engine, the distributor, all amazing. My favorite is the air cleaner. Great design and products Chris!

Wow Lee, you must have perused my gallery on the site! (That's about all there is to do there except sign up.) Snapon, I still have one of those plates- I keep at least one of everything I make- Still got the dual-motor 'Blizzilla' too, of course- Fuzzy pic of the nameplate I banged out for it. Sure is nice to be able to do stuff like that. Chris REC Chris REC

I did quite a bit of wandering around and even more drooling. The funny part is I was directed to your site by Google for a CNC search. I was in awe of your work, then I saw the wheels. Someone else with the rc bug! Lee |

Ha! Snapon! You think I RUN my stuff?!? I'd like to, but I'd hafta buy another one as all my builds are Queens. A chap from the old 'Makin' Trax' site said his could jump & had more power than one with a single brushless. Good brushed motors I'm sure! But cheaper and arguably cooler since very few were made. Ya might be able to Google such. I never made the pinion shroud available, mine is the only one, Bwaa-HARRR! REC is- just MAYBE, possibly, perhaps- going to change directions in a bit by buying a full shop to produce Lexan bodies, if'n you're interested. Not many unusual & truly scale subjects now, everything is pretty mainstream & pretty common. What would you think of a scaler owning a bodyworks? (Not like Bed, Bath & Beyond...) I'd do the same oddball kinda stuff as I make now. Opinions? Chris REC |

If your going that route I'd love to see an international scout truck possibly even a 4 door version! I'd love to see some old school odd type lexan bodies. I'd drop some cash on a true woodie body you know the one from the 40's and 50's. 149 r/c worx team driver Last edited by snapon boy; 08-04-2016 at 07:53 PM. |
