Default Werty's Venom Creeper

So after I bomb to Reno to pick up my creeper from CKRC. I get home and opener up to look at how much trouble I got my self in. First thing i see are the beadlock tires aluminum rings with a plastic inner. So I dig in to the 24 1.5mm screws I have to install.
After 2 screws, screw doing this by hand. Out comes the drill.
15 minutes later tires are done the woman is home and off to a good friends for dinner and creeper building.

So we set up at his house.

tranny is done, now the links. Since the links take the same screws. I took a philips driver and all the links and made a tree. Then using a drill i made a short session of that.

Werty,
Glad to see you've opened the building fluid.

On the tranny case if you find some of the screws go in a little hard, using a normal Socket head Cap screw (instead of the countersunk type) you can use it to cut some threads in first before putting in the slightly more delicate countersunks later. A regular SHCS with the same thread size would allow you to use a larger driver. (I think its a 2mm driver vs the 1.5mm driver on the counter sunk screws)

From the looks of the pics, I'd say NO! Just scroll up, and you can see clearly the from axle is taken up on the top buy the shocks. This is a bit of a bummer seeing as how well this crawler's supposed to be but it doesn't appear to have the capabilities to a competitive crawler.:-(

I sure hope you're not a judge or critic by profession!

We should probably hold off on statements like that until more results are in. While very common, saddle packs on the axles are not a requirement for a competitive crawler.

Wow Don't jump to conclusions. The servo mount is a perfect base for adding on axle packs. The servo mount can be widened and packs can be mounted on the axle. HINT TO THE AFTER MARKET PARTS MAKERS
heres a pic of what I'm going to do.
