so I got a red creeper second hand, but never run. assembled, but never run. i haven't got one battery pack through it and my axle pinions are loosing teeth. I am going to order replacements as i need this running by the 7th, but this seems odd.

Hi I keep having the problem with the diff coming up locked. To the point where it is not fun to drive. Is there any help for this?

buy the team paradox lincoln lockers, or put a shim on the back side back side of the locking ring so that it is kinda jammed shut between the locking ring and the diff bearing. most use a nylon washer to do the second option.

My front driveshaft wont stay locked. it stays locked in for about 10 seconds then goes back it normal mode... I also beleive I have the old style driveshafts that the metal pins keep working themselves loose. lucky I havent lost one yet, gonna try a little shrinkwrap poissibly

Just lock the diffs or tighten the screw that slides so it's stiffer to move, it will work its way out if they aren't locked

Just got my Creeper a couple days ago and have been working on it off and on.I went to assemble the diffs today and the long side of the diff case is to big for the bearing or the brass sleeve to fit over.[IMG][/IMG]

I tried sanding it some and it still would not slide [IMG][/IMG]on.I tried the other one of this piece and the same thing.I tried to tap the bearing on and ended up breaking the center out of the diff housing.

I have emailed customer support to see what they will do to resolve this.I really don't want to wait for them to ship me another set and have the same problem and be down another week.

I was going to order the metal diff case and lockers but I think I will wait and see what they say first.

Help Venom factory support!

I didn't expect the Safari electronics to be great but thought they would last more than 10 days. Only drove it about 45 minutes before the drive train dismantled. Spent 30 minutes putting all the "correction" parts on it and 15ft of driving on a concrete drive later the ESC quit (hot as heck).

I really think a RTR should run longer than this before it dies. I'm a 20+ year RC racer who's just trying crawling. Venom - can you hear me?

Sent them e-mail too but am not expecting much if their stuff is this bad. However I'll spread the word if they step up.

Slow on a down-hill driveway, headed for something to climb doesn't seem like it should strain the electronics.

I've since found I can buy a new Venom ESC for about $15. Guess I should have expected some issues at that price, but still 90 minutes of use?

I've read the whole tread, and believe they do have good customer service. Just wish I could hear from someone. I know people who have good luck with the same ESC, so this has to be an anomaly.

Most people replace the stock esc with something like Novak Rooster Crawler...Novak Eiger....Tekin FX/R...Mamba Max...or similar.

soooo many repeating questions, even on the same page (try scroll up 2 inches). cmon guys, if you dont have the patience to look in a very specific thread, that HAS ANSWERS, then you should not be buying a crawler of any kind. I know this thread is for asking ?'s, but when the answers are right there seems kind of silly to me. done bitchin.

food for though. just take some time to look around.
