|  Venom Creeper Crawler
My first car since Tamiya Holiday buggy  Venom Creeper Novak Rooster Crawler + Fifty Five (combo) 2.4Ghz Radio (tested with Esky 4channel to my helicopter but I intend to use my DX7 and AR6100 (6 channel rx) and trick it with remote lock diffs and steering front and back I soldered an Y-cable that allows me to connect 2 LIPO'S at the time 2S 900Mah is what I have around...so 1800Mah will do for now - but I have already planned in adding a 3rd connector I flipped lower "Z-bend" links to allow more clearance Updatedpic  http://www.youtube.com/user/MrKalaspuff Some tweaks after videos Moved rear supports in front of axle and removed skid (but put the supports back after deanodizing) Added weight to wheels I used 1.5 mm solder and cut it to 1meter lengths, 4 in each tire front and 2 in rear tires (1.5mm solder weights 9gram/meter) 199-207grams stock wheels 259/251grams after in front wheels 229/230 grams after in rear wheels I will buy 1meter aluminium rods and make some links myself...to allow BTA (behind the axle steering) Cheers - UndCon Last edited by UndCon; 10-30-2009 at 01:12 AM. |

Updated the Creeper with a new vinyl warp. I had a friend make up a vinyl wrap for the Creeper, with the sickest camo pattern.... Ohh Yea   , turned out too sweet and just in time for the indoor comp series as well.  |

Been working on the Venom project for the past 2 months, finally got the paint on the body. Next step is to do some crawling outside... The virgin needs to be broke in.      |

Here is my first crawler and first build, waiting on a hitec HS-5955mg steering servo, hitec HS-225MG dig servo, doa dig and 2ch punk rc dig switch, nova's ark 2 stage foams for rovers and 8oz weights in each front tire, remote diff lock kit for front diff and alloy diff case, hr rear lockouts, flm rear locker, cc bec set up to 6v, 2 x 7.4v 1300mah lipos wired in parallel. Should be finished in a few weeks.      |
