Docfire, is there really no way you can mount another brand of tire on this rim?

The tire bead is diffrent more oval in shape unlike the square bead on other tires, and the venom tire bead is not as tall. Im sure you can make it work with a little trimming. I should have tried a losi tire before buidling the wheels.

Did you really pay $60+ for weights?

I'm going to assume that the wheel weights are not Pb and is W (tungsten). Hence the asking price for a set. If you're wondering why tungsten is so expensive, it's because the USA does not produce any tungsten. It's all imported.

How much did you pay for your weights?

As far as I know the wheels weights are made of steel.

Edit: I hope they were tungsten... ;) The russians use tungsten in ice-fishing lures called mormyshka and they are really heavy compared to their size .

They make center of gravity lower, so yes they do help.

So what is the average weight of eack wheel on your creeper and what combination works best? Mine is about 13 oz in front and 7 oz in rear. That's the weight of the led, tire and rim.
