Looks like the pins are over hardened as well. We can replace that for you. In all the testing Ive done since the summer I have not had one diff failure, wear and tear yes but not one failure like your photo shows. Contact Customer Service on Monday and we can help you out. Chris |

The steel pins should not shatter at all, only bend. So if they shatter like glass they are over hardened and lack any ability to bend. We will replace the pins for sure. The cases are designed to take the beating and wear over time. Its a stress relief for the drive system and the only down side is wheel play. When the wheel play gets excessive you can change out the diff case. The alloy diff locking ring that has the pins pressed in it will not fail, there is little stress on that part. Since the pin broke in it we can replace that part. I hope that clarifies things. Chris |

The pins on the lock ring didnt break, just one lost its press fit into the aluminum ring and pushed through.

You use the red locktite or an Anerobic cement for assembly and the pin will be set more or less permanent. It has to be flush with the back side to be the correct length. If it pushes through real easy then contact us for a replacement. Your choice but just call us at least. Chris |

I did the fubar rear lockout like you and it worked great. just a little file work and a nice tight fit. Thank for the good idea.

Glad to help ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ More testing today :-( first direct hit the front axle skidder broke. the plastic is too hard. I hope I dont break the front axle housing the next time the same thing happens without it Then after about 7min I was climbing a V notch and found some traction with the front tires. I have yet to make it past the 10 min mark with this crawler before breakage stops the fun. Time fore pede sliders and metal outputs. |

Ditto, if we can ever get the bugs worked out, it has potential. |

| I feel the same way And speaking of potential the first thing that came to mind when i got this kit is this With the inboard lower links and motor up front and not hanging out the side new lower chassis plates is a must have for me. The belly is now 2.5 inches wide A pic of how much was removed As far as i could go. I had to clearance the chassis plate and change to a pan head screw on the tranny Sittin skinny |

Awesome work on the skid! It looks like you're getting most of the bugs out now.
