Default sloppys creeper scaler

well I got my creeper today..

had a Xtrail laying on the shelf, few hours later and I allmost got this thing ready to run everything built up pretty easy, only issue I had was one of the CVD's outputs was to tight to get the bearings on. I removed the paint, still to tight took a file to it still damn tight but I got the bearings on, dont think they will ever come off but there on there...

tranny is pretty big on it, I had a axial trans laying there and really thought about going that route, but I figured I would go ahead and give it a shot..

fits between the rails pretty good.. need to drill a couple holes in the skid but should work out fine..

still need to figure out shocks. not sure if I will use the stock ones or something shorter..

my original plan was use this for a 1.9 and I still may go that route, but I wanted to see it with the stock 2.2 looks good.. possible body..

I am not sold on the links or the tranny skid thing.. the links are not very "scale" looking.. but I might as well give them a shot..

Well this thing was almost parted out I had it on the bench and was gonna pull the R2 trans out of it for something else. Then I realized all it needs is a RX and the lockers figured out.. So I got out the DX6 and started playing around..

First thing I found the cable lockers seem to really stink.. So I put the servo on the axle works good still needs some tweaking but it shifts in and out fine.. Ran a battery threw it after that with just the rear working and I really like it turns great.. Now I have to figure out the front locker.. I was really put off on figuring out the 6 channel radio but now that I have used it I may be switching some other stuff over to it to control is fantastic.

I also settled on a body and started the paint

inside the lexan paint done..

I will shorten the rods up on both front and rear once I know there set and working good..

made a couple trays out of ABS for the battery and all the other crap.. up to 5 channels now

I wanted to mount the RX and all the stuff but the ESC on this top tray but with the body on the RX with all the wires plugged in wont fit so it will have to get mounted by the ESC..
