| Hello Everyone, I might be buying a new crawler soon and need some help deciding. First off how do ya'll like your Venom's? In comparison to an Axial or other. I know I could get an Axial and have access to anything that I would need to make it "comp ready" but I dont want to be just another AX-10. Also, what exactly does this kit need to finish it? Just the motor, ESC, radio and reciever? Any opinions/help would be greatly appreciated, Justin |

| I own 2 creepers and an AX10, The ax-10 out of the box does not perform near as well as the creeper out of the box....not even close. There is a ton af aftermarket support for axial so thats the upside to it, there will be plenty of aftermarket support for the creeper soon im sure. So for a stock AX10 verses a stock creeper the creeper will win every time. The tires on the creeper are the best on a stock rig, the tires on the ax10 are worthless. The creeper turns amazingly tight. The creeper has way better shocks. The creeper has way better drive components. I wheel my creepers with a couple friends every weekend they run AX10's and are constantly amazed how well the creeper does. You will meed a motor, ESC, battery, steering servo, radio/receiver. | go with the creeper. i am very happy with the way mine performs. but i also did some mods to my liking. try to spend the money on an esc that has a drag brake, you'll never go back to an ordinary esc. as for your steering servo...buy a Metal gear High torque.doesnt matter what brand all depending on the money you want to spend.the higher end servo will do you some justice. one more thing...a BEC will help you out quite a bit as well...good luck |

| I have a Losi, Axial, and Venom - all are 2.2 machines (the Axial is highly modified). There is no doubt you'll get more bang for the buck with the Creeper. Being competitive will only come after many hours of practice - regardless of what crawler you start with. I believe some of the competitive event rules are really stupid:

| There both great crawlers but i did think the venom was better out of the box but the upgrades available for the ax10 are second to none either choice you will be happy with enjoy waht ever choice you make |
