| I just knew this would happen by how easy the plug was to pop out... I took a piece of 1/16 or so rod, heated it cherry red and burned a small hole into the tranny plug... a short piece of 20lbs test fishing line attached through the hole in the plug and one of the chassis holes secures the plug to the chassis so i won't loose it and it can't get into the gears;). just make sure you keep the fishing line or what ever you use as SHORT as possible so it don't get hung up on stuff. Why is my response above your post?????? Last edited by JSN; 02-24-2009 at 09:17 PM. |

| Just something to watch out for guys. I lost my tranny plug, but somehow it ended up in the tranny. It got all wound up in the gears and stripped one of the gears. Just something to watch for. I will not be useing the plug anymore, but will take a peice of electrical tape and cover the hole. |
