STAGE 2 cross brace length ?

What is the cross brace length for the stage 2 kit ??? I need the correct length to finish up my rig !!!

By cross brace do you mean the one spanning the two chassis plates that take the place of the battery tray?????

Captaincrash 01-31-2010 06:05 AM

The two aluminum braces running across the top in this picture are 80mm wide....They are made from .5" x .125" flat aluminum......I hope this helps

yeah the 2 tubes used to replace the battery tray !!!!

WHAT's THEIR LENGTH ????

jeepfreek 01-31-2010 07:59 AM

80 mm! But you can't go straight across on the fron! The motor is in the way. CKRC must give out a "U" shaped bracket that makes the span but clears the motor either over the top or in front, over the top wouldbe the best I think. "thumbsup"

Easy now.

I'm not sure if it'll help, but you might find something to work here. RCP Crawlers Suspension Links and Spacers. There's nothing that's exactly 80mm,but you might find something there to use. Either a combination of 2 or a 74.5mm with a small washer on either side.

Hope that helps.
