From what I have read here the Novak 55 is fine.
Build time ??
How good are you with tools, do you have a nice work area where you can leave stuff, do you have good tools....... the variable are near endless.

I built mine in 10 work hours.
Some have done it in less and some take longer.

DO NOT RUSH !!! That is the most important bit.

I took my good old time building mine. 2 hour intervals for like 5 days. So like 10 hours total, give or take 30 minutes. I love building things correctly so I usually gear myself down to a snails pace. :-P

P.S

Make sure you put the motor in first. You will be thankful later, unless you have extremely small hands and tools.

i built my creeper over 2 days, about 5 hours the first night and most of 2nd day. but the 2nd day was thanksgiving, so between eating and watching tv while building i was beyond a snails pace and a oh sh@t run for a .050 allen wrench. but around 10 hours sounds about right.....most of that time will be spent assembling the tranny. like someone stated above, do yourself a favor and install the motor early, not when your almost done....its a pain to do it then.

Took me awhile, I'm still building it. It doesn't help when half way there, I decided to get Aluminum C's, knuckles, and lock outs. Now I got the parts, I decided to get FLM differentials which I'm still waiting. Is been 7 days since I started, I still need to get ESC + motor.

It helps if you have everything you need before you start and don't do what I do.

Just got my kit and then the work thing got in the way. I'm gonna take my time and "do it right". Yeah, OK. Late.
