Default Venom Creeper CVD covers

After a pin came loose and tore apart my kids creeper (bottom photo), I had to find a better way to keep it together and keep that darn pin in place.

So I came up with these.

Little brass covers that slip right over the CVD. It's tapered on one side that goes toward the bearing so it won't come off.

I made these by hand, and could make several more sets. Would people be interested in something like this? Maybe 7$ a full set shipped.

They clear the hub just fine. I have been running these on both of my Kids creepers the past 2 comps.

Let me know, fellow Venom Creeper drivers.....

bulletproof We all need these!! Please make them and how much for a set shipped to Canada?
I'm running HR lockers on the rear and don't think these would fit inside so can they be purchased as a pair rather then a set of 4 or is that how your selling them?

Same price. Canada is cheap to ship first class international.

I shrinked mine as well as notched the pins but this is a great thing to have if your comping, pins will still blow through the heat shink.......hell it'll still blow through heat shrink with aluminum can. I was talking to gunner and when I decide I can go without my creeper cvd for a month I'm going to send it to him along with a hex. He's going to try and make some cvd pins and hex pins out of the a1 tool steel that he can get if it's availible in the right size otherwise he will do the music wire pins instead which are proven very strong.

Me too, using HR's as well so maybe you could offer these as a pair or a set of 4?

Dude, you dont need cvd pin retainers if ur running lockouts. The only reason you need them without lockouts is because the pin catches on the c hub and rips it apart. There is nothing for the pin to catch on inside the lockout.
