Newbie ?

When I got my Creeper I was wondering into unknown territory. The steering servo that I purchased was the Hobbico Standard size digital, High Torque Dual Ball Bearing metal gear one. So far (given my run time) it's worked fine. The plastic servo arms (horns) are another story. Hobbico says only OEM horns will work. No aftermarket. Well that stinks! I was planning on getting a Futaba single aluminum horn. Any better alternatives without having to buy another servo?

Gonna sound crazy but if I didn't plan to use the servo on anything else I would just force the horn on. I've did this on other things and it has worked fine.

i would say go to your lhs and see if one will work...or you may even try asking in the electronics section, maybe someone there will have some experience...

Good idea but I live in the boonies. No LHS for 60 miles.
