Ummm.....you have one tire mounted backwards compared to the others.....or....is that a secret tuning method?? While the low stance looks great for sidehilling, it looks a bit low to crawl over stuff. Maybe your normal courses emphasize sidehilling, not breakovers? |

i would say shoot for about 2 1/2" for front skid ground clearance and put the rear links back on the skid and try to get your front upper links pointed up if your point of origin is the axle and try to get your rear links about straight or very slight negative angle if the point of origin is the axle and get some better connectors like power pulls or deans or traxxas |

spend a few dollars and get some 70mm top links. They will help a bunch with torque twist. Plus you could throw some more pinion angle in the rear. This will gain clearance and help eliminate hang ups. Have you taken one of the bends out of your rear lower links and turned them to make them high clearance?

The 70mm links are on my list. I turned the lower links so the bends are parallel to the ground but I have not bent them. The battery I had laying around it went to one of my other cars. I was smaller and lighter than the one I was using. I was out of dean's connectors so I used that adapter. Drive shafts and pin locks are at the top of my list. I have one shaft that is cracked and slips out.

I still have Nimh batteries that size (2 venom 1200's & 1 orion 1600). They work great. I'm running lipos now in that same size. I made a full width battery/ servo tray for mine out of aluminum strap. I added a little weight under the servo side of the tray to balance the weight on the axle. |

HR rear lockers and 70mm links are on their way. I have been looking at the parts rmdesignworks has for sale and I am very interested. Ive had a tight budget this year. My fiancee started nursing school and it has sucked up all our extra funds. My plan is to get her through school so she can get a high paying job and I can stop working to be a stay at home dad....lol

| Throw some heat to the aluminum links.........even if it is just a lighter. When you put the links back together, put the allen head of the set screw out, away from the aluminum link.

Update.....Got my lockouts, 70 mm upper links, and traxxas shafts installed. Also picked up some wheel weights at a local tire store. They only had them in half ounce. How much weight do you guys run? This thing is sitting up too high check out the picks and let me know if anything is out of place. 3 1/2 |

i would say put your front lower links were they are stock and put your shocks inside of that and i run about 5oz in the front 0 in the back and put your servo horn down like stock if you flip your going to bend it and for the rear shocks and links put the links in the stock location and put the shocks on the outside of the mount is your front axle clocked forward because it does in pic #5 |

ok so I did some more rearranging today. I straightened the rear lower links took long bend out. I added some weight to the wheels, went with 4.5oz in both front wheels. Made a huge difference! Oh and put the steering back the way it was to begin with. Ill leave it till I switch to bta. Its still sitting alittle higher than I would like it to.
