Finally got an fw/rv esc on theway (OG rooster crawler) , an got a servo in .

Also started to make my own BTA steering setup , based off of RMD's design.

This is my first attempt , so some changes maybe be made.
( it obviously needs to be trimmed, cleaned up , rounded corners , counter sunk screws )

Thanks , I picked these up for $10 in the FS section. If anything they're better than stock an will work for now till I can get some white dots.

Hopefully some more money will get free'd up here soon so I can buy more stuff when I want to like was orig. planned, not just every now an then.

Its gettin' there, that btl plate looks good but the material looks to thin, there's alot of tourqe applied to the plate when its that high above the mounting hardware.

Got a couple more updates , got the electronics in .. using a loaner TX/RX until I find something 2.4.(thanks to cumminsontherocks).

Other then that , this is where I am at. I also have a Aluminum servo horn I have tried Hitec/Futaba , looks like I am going to have to try an JR and hope it fits.

Oh , also going to make some cross braces and maybe shock relocators at work tomorrow I hope.

yea, from the looks of it you have some room to either bend the servo plate down or place the servo on the bottom side of the BTL plate.

Yes its a metallic green and all of the RED is factory from Venom, Thanks for the tips on the servo plate I am trying to base it off of RMD's kinda hard to get angles/placement and what not by looking at pictures.I'll adjust accordingly once I actually get it up and going.
I can always make a new plate at work or just buy one from RMD if this one doesn't work out.

I think the " L" shape that is making it so high.

I have 1.5" in the plate .25" in the "L bend" ( + 1/16ish per bend) then to a 45* bend , total length being X" to start before trimming.I may make one without the "L" if need be.
