Did you have to reverse the rotation of the motor to run it in the rear?

Yea , I am trying to work on that COG.. It would also help with my pinon angles. The body I didnt realize it was so high until it was already drilled an I put it together an started looking at it .

Honestly , Ive had it apart so many times I didn't even notice that I had put it in backwards this time. Thanks for that catch , that would've been a what the hell moment .

Looks good first thing i would do is change tires and upgrade the drive shafts. the tires suck and the drive shaft WILL have problems mainly with the pins.

Bump ..

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get wheel weights ?

I have stopped at every local tire shop within a cpl miles of my house, An have been to every parts store beside napa/carquest (checking this weekend). Got a LRP esc , but plan to get another one esc/motor here soon.

Going to go an try to get to the LHS to get some traxxas shafts this weekend , an keep a look out for some tires in the FS section..

for a new job !! Now its time to get this thing up an running !

I would say to look at Walmart in the fishing section for wheel weight. I found some coiled up lead rope that comes in 1lb rolls in 1/4 and 3/16 diameters I believe. If you do end up using this, make sure to sand the weight mounts inside the rim. It lays flatter without those in there!

Default lower links

Take a look at your lower links.
It looks like you have them backwards.
The reason they are bent the way they are is so that the lower links wont bind against the upperlinks at full articulation.
Experts (Bender amoung others) reccomend limiting your shocks to cut the articulation down so it may not be a big deal, but it looks like having your lower links that way is contributimg to your high COG.

Thanks , I will def. look at wal mart and HF . I was thinking about fishing weights but wanted to try an find some stick ons first.

Captn' , I have had the lowers both ways an they currently do not bind(that i can see/feel) an I get a soda can + of articulation. BUT I will most def. switch them around to see the difference. I had them the correct way when it was built I just recently changed them thinking Id gain Ground clearance. I currently have it Springless but am looking for some soft springs to run internally.

I have yet to hit the rocks with it , so I am sure I will make some changes to my likings an from the T&T's post by RMD.

no the links are upside down but the reson being is because thenyou get more ground clearance
and they were not designed to clear the upers i have mine like that and they have at least 1/2 inch inbetween them
