I started with a 3600mah NiMH battery, for me it worked laying it across the rear axle. Later I was given a lipo charger and then bought a 1300mah 2s battery off of a guy on this forums. This worked very well on the right side of the front axle, so much that I bought 2 more. On my dad's I put a 1300mah 3s between the chassis and the tranny on the left side.

I borrowed a castle link from a guy and set my new BEC to 6v. Here it is installed with the newest suspension setup. Last edited by joywrex; 05-27-2011 at 08:13 PM. |

How would yall suggest connecting the two chassis plates? I have this aluminum knitting needle here that would do the trick if i bent it and tapped the ends. What do others do? |

personal i would put those mounts on the screws that hold the shocks to the chassis. it will keep the shocks in the same (sumwhat) position and also stiffen the chassis.

How noticeable would the difference in chassis stiffness be when crawling? | |

it can depend. i had alot of flex in the chassis cus my wheels are heavy as hell but it can depend. right know i have like no flex in it but depending on where you mount them they can stiffen or actually indus flex in the chassis. the only prob i see here is that when the shocks bottom out they can move the chassis in diff directions depending on how much your axles weight.

I don't really see the need for the internal anti-roll springs inside of the shocks. Do people ever take them out or shorten them?

New Shock setup. I like it a lot. I'm realizing that the shocks suck though. Also, the stock tires are crap. I did some sipping but it was messy and didn't seem to help much. |
