So my first 1/10 crawler is a custom venom creeper

You can get pinions off ebay for $3 shipped. I just picked up a 19t for my brushless as with the stock gearing the torque was excessive! Still excessive with the 19t but not as scary. I am going to order a 28t for grins to see what happens! 100mph maybe? Seriously though it should keep up with my sons brushed SC truck with that gearing I would bet.

I couldnt find em for less than 6 shipped but i did a trade with a local and got 12 tooth pinion yesturday and got it swapped in last night i can hear the reduction in gearing

So i changed positions for my rear upper links made a huge difference in flex geared it down on a 12 tooth pinion and wow 35 turn on 12 tooth is nice good wheelspeed but lots of torque still going to tear it down this week and a friends going to sandblast it so i can paint it

I plan to take some pics of how the pig sits now before tear down then progress pics as i go its probally going to be a couple 3 weeks before reassembled

The pig is offically tore apart and will remain that way till probally closer to end of august will post pics of bare chasis in morning

While his creeper is down mine is almost comolete. I just need to put a few finishing touches on it. Here it is next to my scx10. Oh yeah both are chevies in the bed of a real lifted chevy

So my creeper is no longer a comper or assembled at the moment buts going through a scaler transformation so this build thread is dead so to speak.

well i havnt updated this months my creeper is well gone mostly axial. i run creeper axles and links but now im running wraith shocks axial scx 10 trans traxxas driveshafts. Its also no longer on proline chisels but now on proline 8 shooter wheels and 5.7 inch tall mickey thompson baja claw ttc tires. Im now doing a build thread in the 2.2 scale section under the bug buggie build.
