Default How many turns?

Looking to build a scale 1.9 creeper. The goal will is to build an all around pretty solid performing rig (rocks, mud, etc.). Is a 50 or 55 turn motor going to be too slow for mudding? Afraid a 35 turn might be too fast for crawling? What would be a decent blend for control and wheel speed?

im new to all this... i put a 27T stock back in as the original owner had a 19T that was getting hot in mine...
the 27T seems too slow for me on normal driving... so id say a 50 or 55 will be really slow.... 35T from what i have read here is a great crawl turn number..
my thinking is im gonna go to a 35T motor after i put a 2speed transmission in.. once that is in.. ill feel better that I can have some faster gearing... only thing around me to crawl over is the curb, mine and neighbors basketball net bases (big plastic ones).... but i want to crawl if i go somewhere.. but have speed for trails if no crawling...

hope ya figure it out!

Keep in mind that going to smaller 1.9 tires will also have an effect on your final gear ration.

I have a 35 turn in my creeper and its heavy i had to go to a 12 tooth pinion but i still have lots of wheel speed and plenty of torque

I run a 45t integy with a 15t pinion, always plenty of torque an wheel speed.. can dig thru anything an jump gaps with it! For a more scale ful rig.. 35t would be a good start an you can mess with the gearing to get desired torque to wheels speed ratio.
