Easiest way is to use shorter link ends ..

Yah shorter link ends would be the easiest but it looks like he needs a bit more then shorter link ends would give.

I am still deciding whether to turn my venom creeper into a scaler or put a tuber frame on it. I found a Integy Universal Steel Roll Cage 2.2 that has venom creeper chassis plates with it. THen I also saw a Integy Scale 2.2 Steel Roll Cage SCX10 and I was wondering would that roll cage work with the venom creeper.

Here is a link to the Integy Universal Steel Roll Cage 2.2 with a pic
Universal Steel Roll Cage for 2.2 Rock Crawler (AX10, WK ... etc.) for R/C or RC - Team Integy

And here is a link to the Integy Scale 2.2 Steel Roll Cage SCX10
Hobby Fever - Integy Scale 2.2 Steel Roll Cage SCX10 - INTC23300

All I want to know is if the Integy Scale 2.2 Steel ROll Cage SCX10 will work with the venom creeper and if so which roll cage would be better or would it be better to turn it into a scaler.

The scale cage is pretty sweet. I had thought about getting one of those myself but I decided I would just build my own which I have just started building. If you want a more so scale truck I would go with the scx10 one. You should have no problem getting it to work with minimal if any modification.

I want to get the Integy Scale 2.2 Steel Roll Cage SCX10 but I want to put interior into it I was wondering if the axial wraith interior kit would fit and if not, what interior kit would work with it.

I thought since I was getting the Integy 2.2 Scale Roll Cage from advantagehobby.com, I would just get a lower turn motor because the shipping would be free and I have the money now. So I found two motors one the

Electrix RC Dynamite 15 turn motor
ECX1072 Motor 15T with 19T Pinion - Electrix RC Motors

or the

Duratrax Photon Speed 19 turn motor
DTXDTXC3302 Photon Speed 19T Motor W/Leads - Duratrax Motors

or I was thinking of just getting the

Axial 20 turn motor
AXIAX24003 AX24003 Axial 20T Electric Motor - AXIAL Motors

Currently I am running the
Axial AE-1 ESC
7.4V 1500mah 6cell nimh battery pack
Venom Modified Fireball 50 turn motor
and TowerPro MG946R Steering Servo

Any input would be nice thanks!!!

Like I said above i was looking at a 15t motor but I have a venom creeper with a Axial AE-1 ESC, 7.2V 1500mah battery, towerpro MG946R and I was wondering would it be ok to run the 15 turn motor with this setup or should I just go with a 19t or 20t or even 27t. If any of you guys have saw the southern rock buggies I want to make something like that so i want a lot of speed.

The southern rock buggies aren't that fast. I mean they are faster then a standard crawler but still not that fast. The Axial ESC is not recommended for below a 20t. The new version 3 may be different but I know the older one is 20t max. I think with a 20t you should get a decent burst in speed but the torque will be just enough to crawl. Any binds and you will be stuck though.

I am not a big crawling fan and I want my creeper to have like wraith speed and I want it to get up and go does any body know the best way to do so like less turn motor, or bigger tooth pinion gear different gearing in the axles or something else. Any input would be helpful, thanks!
Here is my set up so far:
Venom 55t fireball modified motor
Axial AE-1 ESC
7.2V 1500mah battery
towerpro MG946R
19t pinion gear
everything else stock

Change ur motor, maybe a 35t ur esc to one that takes lipo, get lipo, most likely 3s, an then get aluminum chubs an knuckles, to handle the speed ur goin to be hitting stuff at.... I run a 45t with a 15t Pinion on 3s an a guy I crawl with calls it my crawling foff.. its not really fast like a wraith but has the wheel speed of my scaler on a 35t.. or just get a wraith..

I run 850 for comp or a 1000mah 45-90c! If the course has some spots I think it needed.. like a gap to jump or a gate in a weird spot that can be launch thru or over.. I started with an still use my 1300mah.. I put mine up on the btl plate. Depends on where ur putting ur battery. I even only run a 1500 in my scaler.. My friend runs 2200 in his scaler.. all up to you an ur weight an where ur putting it..

If you are going wraith like you might as well just start over. Putting a 20t in it will make it go about stock wraith speed but it isnt going to handle as well. To be honest by the time you get the thing set up to be as good as a wraith you will have a substantial amount of money in it. You could probably buy a RTR wraith for what it would cost to get yours up to a wraith handling and speed. Don't get me wrong I am not saying it can't be done just that you will have alot of money and set up invested to make it work. If you want a fast creeper we can help with that but it is going to take more then just a motor.

I'm goin to have to go against the 20t... We get better wheel speed out of the creeper trannies, my 0.02, a 35t with a 19t Pinion will be wicked fast to start with.. I agree with the handling tho... It will need some 4" shocks or even maybe 3.5" some big bores with some 35w oil maybe... Mine bounces along pretty good, I want to see this foff come alive! Besides, during all this, Scott may become interested in rock crawling, then he just has to Pinion down an he already has a motor.. then he will have the esc an batteries to make a great crawler.. stick with it dog, the creeper is very versetille.. ill be watching for pics
