Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues Can I get a low voltage cutoff for the axial ae-1 |
Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues Maybe, prolly... Cheapest, easiest way to go bout it.. get a Lipo alarm.. like 6$... You can get them for up to 6s an with a voltage display on them.. |
Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues Where could I get one of them |
Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues Shhh.. *bay.... Look up Lipo alarm.. |
Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues Can I use this battery Turnigy 2200mAh 3S 40C Lipo Pack with this low voltage alarm 7.4V -11.1V RC Lipo Battery Low Voltage Tester Checker Alarm Indicator New | eBay |
Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues Yep, that will work for a Lipo alarm.. for a dollar or two more, you could get one that also has a led read out of ur voltage as well.. if you wanted.. I have alarms an a Lipo voltage checker. Cost twice as much as buying one that does both.. just a thought.. Yes, that battery will work. Suggestion.... Get 2x 1000-1300mah(turnigy Nano-tech is what I run) it saves on high up weight an lowers ur cog, an can be used if you ever go with a axle mounted battery setup.. cough cough, Rmdw btl kit.. lol.. it kills two birds with one stone.. ota steering, no more hanging up on the tie rod out front an cheaper upgrade.. saves ur servo from abuse an gets the battery on the axle.. |
Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues Thanks ill have to look at those batterries and what kind of charger do u use with that |
Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues scoggdog13, you wanna go fast like a wraith but still wanna crawl, heres what i am runnin in my creeper, for 12 bucs get a hpi firebolt 15turn brushed motor,a 19 tooth pinion, a single outcry esc from 4wdrc you can run both 2 cell an 3cell lipos,i run both from a 800 to a 1600 get close to 30 minutes of run time depends on your trigger finger,i all so put a proline tuber cage on mine with roof rack give it a scale rock buggy look, on 3 cell 1600 it will smoke a stock wraith in a flat drag easily, just my 2 cents. caution!! faster means broken parts also.lol. |

Sounds like a rally rock racer, not a crawler.. team drivers are running a 55t with a 19t pinion.. I can only imagine a 15t... Video? |

Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues which lipo alarm would be better to use with this battery? 7 4V 11 1v RC LiPo Battery Low Voltage Tester Checker Alarm Indicator New | eBay 7V 14V RC LiPo Battery Low Voltage Buzzer Alarm | eBay Turnigy nano-tech 1000mAh 3S 45~90C Lipo Pack |
Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues Are you just using it for a alarm? I have one that's a voltage checker with numbers, I like, an just a alarm.. since I have seen them combined into one.. nice numeric read out for testing batteries voltage an alarm when there low.. for 6$-7$... Other then that, either will work.. if ur never goin to use a 4s battery, the top choice is good.. |

Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues Well went out and drove the truck today and I noticed I didnt have any rear wheel drive so I checked it out and one of the drive pins came out and was stuck to the motor so i went inside and thought i fixed it and I put the pin through the big circle hole instead of the one it is suppose to go in well it locked up so i gave it some throttle and boom there went the drive shaft and i really dont have the funds for a new one at this moment http://i1260.photobucket.com/albums/...3/DSCN0149.jpg http://i1260.photobucket.com/albums/...3/DSCN0144.jpg http://i1260.photobucket.com/albums/...DSCN0143-1.jpg http://i1260.photobucket.com/albums/...DSCN0141-1.jpg http://i1260.photobucket.com/albums/...DSCN0139-2.jpg |
Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues That sucks! I knew the feeling once.... That's all it took to go a diff direction for a drive shaft. I went Traxxas shafts an metal yokea first.. then I realized I could get mip drive shafts for around 30$ used actually got em for 22$ or something.. someone sold ygm on ebay under junfac shafts.. lucky! Then got a set on the for sale section for 25$.. worth every penny of retail! 60$... Last a life time! Haven had one single issue since.. good thing too, cause I got no funds to replace either.. |
Re: Just got a Venom Creeper (my first rc) and have a little bit of issues hey bud PM me about some parts for your rig."thumbsup" looks like you can use some good driveshafts. |
