Question Motor swap

I would like some opinions. I bought a novak 55t terra crawler motor for my venom but when I try to take the motor plate screws out they just try to strip. Dont really no what to do . I personally didnt put the crawler together so I have no clue if there is another way to get the motor out another way.

you should be able to pull the rubber plug out on the opposite side of the motor and get to the 2 motor mount bolts. Unless it has a pinion bigger then 20 tooth the big plate can stay on the gearbox.

Do the heads of the fastener strip? You could use a torx bit.

Yes they are stripping when I try to loosen them. I think whoever put it together used red loctite on them.

I doubt that, I had one do it to me on a used unit i bought. The combination of the plastic compound used and the threads on the fasteners and the cheap material used for fasteners all lead to this happening. i got lucky and only had one do it, you weren't so lucky. there is no reason for that type of thread used on these screws.
