I'd look into the HiTec 645 about 130 in/oz of torque.

pretty darn nice! I don't see the updated red keepers on the axles so its very possible you have the good strong pinion gears in there. Nice spare parts too!

I run the 645's and they are ok so long as you don't mess up the leverages. As in running a long servo arm and put the link at the end. The farther out you get from the splines the less effective power it has to turn things.

I run 645's in the creeper and the hpi sf50's in my custom buggy. According to this TowerHobbies.com | HPI Racing SF-50 Metal Gear Servo the hpi sf50's have 266 oz of torque at 6V. That's plenty for me plus those servos are kinda cheap. I do see the sf50 torque rating being questioned a lot though.

Thanks for the info.
I have ordered the 645.
I never looked at the specs on the HPI sf50, I didn't realize that it is rated at 266 oz/in. It sure doesn't seem like it.
I plan on using the sf50 in my daughter's radier buggy, the servo in that is shot.

What are the updated red keeps that you didn't see.

It's a sleeve or collar that holds the CV pin in place. The set screws are a pain to keep tight and when they get loose the pin comes out. Mine came halfway out once and broke the stock C Hub. I had them TIG welded in place after that. Here is a replacement axle at A Main that shows the red sleeve. If you dig around a bit in this section you'll see a few pics of them.

I've driven it a little it performs great to me.
I had a rockslide RS10 xt that I moded following advice found here and it worked well.
Than I got a losi MRC but I didn't like that too small.
I've wanted a creeper from the start and the drive was fun getting here but I'm glad I'm here.
I don't have any vids as of yet but I do have some pictures.
I have it apart for waterproofing right now but I will get it back rolling again soon.

Nice score on the creeper. I am looking at one on another Forum right now too. It looks like these can be had for a pretty good deal second hand. How do you like the motor ESC combo so far?

I don't get much time to go crawling any more.
I been working 7 days a week and here in Georgia its
rained more than I've ever seen before.
Maybe I should have gotten into boats.
As for how it crawls I haven't found much this rig won't climb.
It just doesn't stop.
