Default 55' Chevy Sedan Creeper.

55' Chevy sedan body (shortened a pro street version)
1.9 VR01 rims
1.9 Rock Crushers
custom tube chassis built on SCX10 frame rails
rear mounted sealed electronics box.
Creeper tans
Creeper axles

That's my short list. currently this project is "sitting" on RS10 axles, but i have decided it needed to go the shafty route. So the idea is that this was a fast and dirty scrap yard build to compete in a KOH style event. think two guys with unlimited access to a bunch of junk cars. Here are some mock up pics to give you an idea.

Pay no mind to the chassis, I am not happy with it and will be starting over.

I think i am going to cut the body into panels and mount then in that manner, I will cut the "A" and "B" pillars out and use the cage to make my body lines. this will get the rust treatment and will hopefully turn out better then the bronco paint job.

I just bought a creeper roller, have an idea to remote mount the engine and trans in this. is anyone using a creeper trans to feed a mechanical DIG? also thinking is am going to end up with two drive lines up front.

some, was working on my dads rig, then we had a baby, and then it got hotter than Satan's balls.

I bought one of these:
.21 Class Electric power conversion - Super Shafty

it will be brushless, looking for a motor now, with a brushlesshobbies 120pro ESC.

I am going to do a 4-link with half-pack leafs on the front to keep it clean and then a traditional 4-link/coil over on the rear.

I am scraping the cage I have built now, building my dads rig gave me a ton of knowledge and it is going to sit on a chopped and reversed SCX-10 chassis.

waiting for the Axial mod Beef tubes and I am going to attempt to make the front an off-set pumpkin.

same wheels and tires as before and same body except I am going to bob the back, probably take 2 inches out to give it a better approach angle.

I have a AC unit to put in the garage now, hope to get it hauled down from the second floor the house this weekend. then maybe I can start back on some projects.

Good to see you back to work on this one! What are you using to glue the body back together after you cut it? Thanks!

The first time I backed it with scrape lexan and used superglue. But I think this time around I am going to just cut the body into panels, not 100% on that yet. The roof for sure will be cut free and bolted on. This body is a bit thin and the lexan used seems a bit more brittle than say a proline body.
