Default New rig to my fleet.

Just added a Creeper to my fleet!! Was wondering what things I should look out for upkeep and what weaknesses it might have. Running gear is a Novak Rooster Crawler esc and Goat 45t motor. It has HR lockouts, c hubs, and knuckles. HB Rovers on stock beadlocks. Equiped with DIG. Any opinions or statements??

Congrats on the purchase. Creepers are a great platform (have been running Creepers for years and cant get rid of them, lol)

First thing is to pull it apart and give the diffs and trans a good clean and re grease. That way you can check over everything to make sure nothing is broken or damaged.

Have a read through this thread. A ton of good information about the Creeper about fixing its weaknesses and rig set up
RMDW T's & T's & set up.

If you have any specific issues, post up and Ill help you out

The front axles are a weak point, To my knolegde there is no drop in fix for them. like gottorque said read the tips and tricks section. A lot of the build threads have a lot of helpful info also.

sounds like you have the stock cvd's with rmdw pin locks on them , alot of the issues with the axle shafts has been breaking due to mis-heat treating ( which shouls have been resolved with the later axle shafts )

welcome to the creeper sicness , i myself have several creepers either axles or complete drivetrains .

as was stated earlier read the rmdw tips and tricks section for alot of good advice on the creeper

get an axial trans for it. far easier to work on and parts are readily available

I use the Traxxas Hardened Steel Yokes,,,Part # 4628X, you'll need two packages of these for your rig, there are two yokes in each package. I also use the Traxxas Long, truck Half-shafts,Part # 1951, one package for the truck contains two male and two female shafts. Per the tips and tricks

Make sure you get the the steel yokes the plastic ones don't work
