ok i got hold of my mom and she told me what to do. go on to the vt secretary of state web site and fill out a form and also we have to have a bylaw and we have to a point a president, vise president and so on. this is for a non profit club. now there are way to many brands of rc crawlers to make the club for one brand so the bylaw would have to be for people with rc rock crawlers. as far as holding events after we get started we can make our own rules.

I'll chip in to get it done. Doing a "legal" not-for-profit club is actually a huge pain in the rear. IRS paperwork, accounting, filing with the state. Then consider insurance for events etc. It gets complicated. Consider just forming a non official group for a while and then organize if it takes off.

FWIW- I'm in Springfield and have a couple crawlers, but I'm not really good at it or modding my stuff to extreme competition levels- and probably won't. I'm a 'full scale' off road driving instructor though.
